The second secondment within the project has been already developed by the early stage student of the BCMaterials, Amaia Zarandona in the University of Minho. She and Pedro Martins, his supervisor at the University of Minho have assembled the first set of PVDF/MOF hybrid dense membranes, that will be tested later at the University of Chile for the recovery of Lithium from brines. Thanks, Amaia and Pedro, for triggering the first interdisciplinary actions within SELFAQUASENS.
